There are about 2500 tribes in the continet. We guess that 'Africa' has been used since Rome occupied Cartago and called it 'Afri.' Lake Victoria is well known with its stupendous size occupying the area of 70% of South Korea. Mt. Kilimanjaro has the highest peak in Africa. Sahara Desert consists of one fourth of the whole area of Northern Africa. Diverse races and tribes live in African Continent that has various natural environments.

Africa situation is often understood in the conflicting relationship with human rights. Numerous human right violations often take place in the African countries, and we have the impression that Africa is still backward regarding human rights.
